And I have searched the forums. I have seen stories like this but not really. Like they use creatures and supernaturals but in the way I do in this legacy. If you think my legacy is like one out there that I didn't see, please tell me :)
Getting Started
Okay to get started, make a single sim in CAS. They can be male or female but they must be of age to have children and they must be human (aka a normal sim). I would suggest making them a Young Adult though. Yes, you may make them pet(s) if you wish. You can adopt pets later if you really want to as well. Their traits and the likes can be whatever you want. Move them into your world of choice. It doesn't matter much since you can move to any world/house you want to later. Moving is encouraged.Lifespan should be set on Normal, Story Progression should be on.
Now Meet the Supes
What does Meet the Supes mean? Supe is short for Supernatural, as in a Supernatural creature ( Vampire, Werewolf, PlantSim, ect ). You may also know them as Lifestates. The point of this 'challenge' ( if you can call it ) is to try and have your sim's line have every single type of Supernatural in it by the end of their story. Basically, you start as a human and have children with different Supes to create a family line that is quite varied. Each Generation is a different 'Feature'. You could say Generation One's feature Supe is 'Human' ( I know they're not a Supe, but for this challenge's sake we're gonna say they are ). How you pick Generation Two's Supe I don't care, just please no repeating. Obviously, your Sim will have to, most times, marry that particular Supe ( or a sim that gets turned into that Supe perhaps? ) and have children with them to bring in the next generation. Of course this means, yes, you must have children until they have a child that has the next generation's feature Supe Quality.
Yes, I know that some Supes ( Vampires, Faeries in general ) live very, very long and they might still be Young Adults when their great-great grandchild is born, but that's what makes it interesting no? The factor of a very long life and seeing great grandchildren while seeing their mates pass away. It makes for drama and good storytelling, no?
I'm sure you want 'official rules', no? Well, here they are.
Rules
1. Rules are made to be bent and broken. The only rules I ask you don't break is the rule about Repeating Supes and the lifespan thing.2. Don't repeat Supes. Once you have done Werewolves, the next generation is a new Supe. No Repeating.
3. Lifespan is normal. Remember that. Make sure Story Progression is on!
4. Try not to play with mods. Try to avoid money and mood mods. I'm not banning them outright because sometimes you got a story to tell after all..
5. Mods that don't make your game super easy are allow - this includes CC.
6. No switching families! Try to stick to your Legacy Family the whole time!
7. There is no point system but feel free to upload your stories!
8. Have fun! :)
And that's it. I have no idea if anyone will even attempt this but its cool to think someone might. I really only posted this so everyone would know what MTS and Meet The Supes means. Anyway, have fun reading about the Luck Family! :)
